Interiors by Elena is a full-service interior design studio crafting refined, functional environments for residences and commercial spaces across the Bay Area.
About the Studio
Founded by Jaime McGarry, Interiors by Elena is a boutique design practice based in Oakland, California. We approach every project as a collaboration — listening closely, studying how you actually live and work, then translating that into environments that are beautiful, durable, and deeply personal.
Our work spans private residences, executive offices, boutique retail, and hospitality spaces throughout the Bay Area. We believe good design is not decoration — it is the quiet architecture of daily life.
What We Do
Complete home interiors — living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and outdoor spaces — designed around the way you live.
Offices, studios, retail, and hospitality environments that reflect your brand and support the people who use them.
Smart layouts that maximize flow, function, and natural light — before a single piece of furniture is chosen.
Bespoke millwork, upholstery, and built-ins crafted with local makers to fit your space precisely.
Layered lighting plans that balance ambient, task, and accent light to shape mood and function.
End-to-end project management — from concept and drawings to procurement, installation, and final styling.

How We Work
We begin with a conversation — your goals, your budget, your timeline, and how you want the space to feel. We visit the site and take detailed measurements.
Mood boards, spatial layouts, material palettes, and furniture plans. We refine together until the direction is unmistakably yours.
We source, specify, and coordinate every element — furniture, fixtures, finishes, and custom pieces — with transparent pricing at each step.
Our team manages delivery, installation, and final styling. You walk in to a finished space — ready to live in or open for business.
